02 — Material and process

How the picture was made.

A macro photograph of something ordinary, then roughly a hundred and fifty translucent layers painted digitally with a wireless brush, then print. On the originals he then worked the printed surface by hand with pigment ink and coloured lacquer.

This description is the artist's own account of his method. It describes how the work was made — not the finishing of this edition, which is printed and not hand-worked.

03 — The edition

Fine Art Estate Edition, edition of 6.

Printed now from the artist's own master file, individually numbered, carrying the estate stamp and a certificate of authenticity signed by the family.

This estate edition is not artist-signed. Yoel Tordjman died in 2024. No work made after that date carries his hand, and no certificate of ours will suggest otherwise.

Edition format is 6. How many of that edition remain is confirmed with the family archive at the time of a request — we do not publish a number we have not reconciled.
